When were not dealing with the busy challenges that come along with being a parent, (which isn't very often) we enjoy being able to go out into the community and give back. One surefire way to do this is to choose purchasing at a small business rather than a chain store when I'm able to do some shopping. This comes with benefits all around - beautiful, classic pieces to dress up my kids, and extra support for those in my community.

With the best selection of minimalistic clothing, Quincy Mae is the next small business in the spotlight. When it's founder, Keli, couldn't find her ideal children's clothes on the market, she set out to create and design her own. From this, the brand was a success and began carrying the perfect staple color pieces.

Jamie Kay is another small business online clothing brand carrying both boys and girls clothing for ages 0-10. The brand started when it's founder was designing a cot blanket for their son in 2013, and after they were a success, they branched out into the apparel business. Since then, Jamie Kay has been producing beautiful, unique childrens clothes with ethically sourced materials.

They also use sustainable fabrics to create the softest, most durable quality clothing at the lowest price point to be accessible to all parents. Kate Quinn's massive array of silhouettes and prints makes it a wonderful option when looking to upgrade your kid's style.

So, get out there and shop! If it's not these small businesses, I still encourage each and every reader to go out to your local community and support the small businesses in your area.

Stay tuned in for next week where we will be discussing additional upcoming summer fashion trends for the little ones!
